Ebooks

All of this talk about ebooks has me thinking I might try one out for pleasure.  It definetly won't be for academic use.  I still like highlighting in my textbook and in-margin note taking.

Technology

I am excited about the things we are learning.  I hate that I did not have access on my laptop.  I missed the hands-on learning of creating a database.  The group project on e-books seems to be a little daunting.  I think the content is sooooooo broad, it is overwhelming.  I will persevere. 

The Perils of Technology

Well, I made it through my first day.  It was very busy and a tad bit overwhelming.  I tried to get on the internet at my hotel last night and it was not cooperative.  The perils of technology.  Overall, I am enjoying the class and can't wait to show what I have learned to my kids.

Hi! My name is Anna and I’m an addict.  I am addicted to technology.  I rarely talk on the telephone anymore because I am so busy texting everyone except for my grandmother.  I am always reconnecting with old and new friends using Facebook.  I pay most of my bills online and even shop for routine items online.    I haven’t bought a cd in years because ITunes and IPods are where I keep my music.  The only thing I can’t seem to use technologically is the Kindle.  As much as I love technology, I love the feel of the book in my hands.
